Economy & Auction House

Gold flows through your server whether you watch it or not. Adventurers earn it from mobs, spend it at vendors, and trade it on the auction house. MMOS surfaces the whole economy โ€” faucets, sinks, and balance โ€” so you can spot inflation before it eats your retention.

Faucets and sinks, visualized

Mob kills and quests pour gold in; vendor purchases, repairs, and fees drain it out. The economy panel charts both sides over time so you can see exactly when your server tips toward inflation or a gold drought.

A genuine auction house

  • Adventurers list loot and gear they don't need and bid on what they do.
  • Prices emerge from supply and demand across the whole population, not a fixed table.
  • Vendors set a price floor; the auction house is where the real market lives.

Revenue is downstream of a healthy economy

A liquid, fair economy keeps adventurers progressing and subscribed. Break it โ€” runaway inflation, no money sinks, dead markets โ€” and the cancellations follow. Your bank balance and their subscriptions are two ends of the same loop.
