MMOS v0.6.0: Pets, Races and a Bigger MMO Toolbox
Create combat companions and playable races, build distinct starting areas, and shape deeper classes, quests and progression.
0.6 is one of the largest MMOS updates so far. It gives adventurers new companions to fight beside, lets races enter the world through distinct starting areas, and adds a stack of new tools for shaping their MMO. If you continue a 0.5.x world, MMOS asks before upgrading it and keeps a backup copy of the original save.
Pets & summons
Classes can field up to three permanent companions, while temporary summons keep a separate slot. Pets follow their owners, join fights, take damage, hold threat and cast the abilities you give them, including heals and support for nearby party members.
Races & starting areas
Create playable races with their own look, bonuses, faction and class options, then give them distinct homes. A faction can have several spawn points, each limited to the races that should begin there.
Abilities level up
An ability can now have several levels, such as Fireball I, II and III. Each level has its own learn requirement, targeting, effects, cost, cast time and cooldown, and adventurers and pets automatically use the strongest level they know.
Dungeon & raid quests
Send adventurers to clear an instance, kill a specific mob or boss inside it, or collect an instance drop. Quest holders seek out and queue for the target themselves, and repeatable seven-day objectives make weeklies possible.
Server rates & XP curves
Set a global XP rate, shape the character-level curve, and give professions a curve of their own. Every curve opens as a bar chart where you can set the exact requirement for an individual level.
Adventurer titles
Create name prefixes and suffixes such as Sir or the Brave, then award them through quests. Earning a title grants fun, and adventurers display the rarest title they own.
Quest stats & targeting
Every quest records offers, completions, current holders and lifetime gold paid. A new Limited to filter can reserve it for selected classes, races or professions.
Adventurers show their gear
Zoom in to see adventurers carry their equipped weapons and shields. One-handed, off-hand and two-handed gear follows each character's movement and facing, and the layer can be switched off in Settings.
